  • We had an AMAZING experience! Everyone welcomed us and our kids in like family. They made room for our stroller to get inside, made special Mickey and Minnie pancakes for our kids, entertained our kids, and talked with us. Food was excellent!! Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the city!

  • If you love quaint off the beaten path spots in North End Boston, this is your place for breakfast. We have eaten here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. But when I say quaint, it is really small. It has a short bar and about 6 tables in a space the size of my home dining room, but that does not take away from the experience. The folks are nice and the food is good and it’s open for breakfast on Sunday mornings which is awesome when you are flying out that day and have eaten your fill of Dunkin Donuts and want some real bacon and eggs! Highly recommended.

  • Our one-year old daughter decided to wake up at 4:45 in the morning on Sunday, so we looked up breakfast places around that open early. Found this spot that opened at 6:00 and gave it a try. Right upon entering, the owners were very nice and helpful, helping us manage to get our daughter situated and stroller out of the way. They made you feel like we came into their house and was part of the family. They had a very good selection for breakfast, and the portions were huge (in a good way). They made a special pancake for our daughter, and even tried to keep her entertained. Fantastic place, fantastic owners, amazing affordable food. I highly recommend for families, especially when it is one of those super early mornings.

  • This is definitely a very welcoming place. If i lived in Boston, I'd be a regular there. It seems like a place that gets pretty busy and is absolutely worth the wait. I had steak, eggs and home fries which were very good. The staff seems to know a vast majority of their customers, which is really nice to see, and even as an out of towner, I'd love to come back if I am in Boston again. Pros: Friendly, welcoming staff Delicious food Cost is not crazy Clean place There is a restroom Cons: Street parking, which is very limited

  • Found this little gem in the little Italy section. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food coming from the inside is outstanding. Theo cooking on the grill makes magic. Great selections on the menu for breakfast. Prepared to order hot and fresh. Generous portions at a great price. Well, it is very small and cramped inside. It is also extremely welcoming and like home. Bring cash as they do not take credit cards and come early because the line starts quick. Highly recommend. I had to have special two eggs, bacon, potatoes,, and toast with coffee. Coffee was great and refills a plenty. My total bill was just over $15, which is extremely reasonable for Boston!

  • I saw the high praise on yelp and TA and thought we’d give it a try, but as we were walking past all the Italian places in little Italy I started wondering if we’d made a mistake…surely we should eat at one of them? Then we saw how tiny it was and almost turned right around. But there was one table open right by the door, and I am SO glad we made the effort to squeeze inside! Everyone was so kind and accommodating, even though with a 2yo we weren’t the easiest guests. Theo came over and said hi to our little one several times and then surprised her with a Mickey pancake all decorated. She was so excited! It was so nice to have such a chill local place to be treated like family and it was worth the walk and the close quarters…all part of the charm. Also, the food was amazing. I’d sworn off keeping leftovers this trip just because of convenience, but you better believe I took home the several slices of French toast I didn’t finish. It was delicious and beautiful! The whole family felt the same about their meals.

  • This small place is an absolute delight. Five tables and seven stools, it isn't big but delivers a big meal. The morning we were there we had to wait about 10 minutes before the four stools at the counter opened up and this was indeed a breakfast and a show. The griddle and main area for the staff is right there and we were able to watch a groddle-master at work. A constantly turning-overmpile of flattop cooked potatoes, along with a steady stream of eggs and other hot items being cooked up and wafting the delicious smells into the air. Our meals were big, but able to finish them, thought the amount of potatoes on the plate was quite a bit. Two eggs over hard, wheat toast, potatoes and a mug of black coffee is the all-American breakfast and it was done up right. Coffee was never cold and never more than half-full, the waitress was really on top of things and a steady stream of locals either picking up breakfast or coming in for the tables. The wife said her OJ was really good and everyone joyed their meals Heads-up that this place is cash only.

  • Theo’s Cozy Corner really lives up to its name! I tried the moqueca (Brazilian seafood stew) and it was absolutely bursting with flavor—rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, so be sure to bring some bills. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food in a welcoming spot!
